US Army M4A1, 76mm (w) T-48 Series Tracks, Tank, Sherman
One of the most popular series of tanks of WWII. The M4A1 (76)W was first
manufactured in 1944 by two companies, the Fisher Tank Arsenal and The Detroit
Tank Arsenal. It weighed 32.32 Tons and had a crew of five The 76mm M1,
(Wet) Storage mounted in the T-28 Series Turret gave the US Army & Allies better
anti-tank abilities at longer rang against the German Tiger I & Panther. The
T-48 Series of Tracks gave the Sherman's better traction over soft terrain.
