US Army M36B1, Tank Destroyer w/T-48 Tracks
The M36B1 combined the M4A3 tank hull with 90mm M36 Turret. This conversion only
required the internal ammunition storage be reworked to accommodate the longer
90mm rounds. Most of the original M36B1's were not fitted with a muzzle break as
depicted in our kit. A total of 187 M36B1's were produced by Fisher in Late
1944, when the demand for more M36's was increased. The T-48 Series of rubber
tracks was used to increase traction on soft terrain.
